MES JUNIOR SECTION HONOURS ACADEMIC BRILLIANCE AT PHL CEREMONY

The Junior Section of M.E.S Indian School conducted the Principal’s Honours List Ceremony for the academic year 2024–2025 on 20th May 2025 & 21st May 2025 with great enthusiasm and elegance.

The august presence of the dignitaries on the first day, including the Chief Guest-Mr. Firos Kolathayil- Secretary, Mr. Faisal Mayan, Mr. Badarudheen Gulam Mohiyudheen – Directors, M.E.S Governing Board, Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar added immense grace to the occasion. The esteemed guests felicitated the meritorious students of Grades I & IV for their remarkable accomplishments in academics, applauding their unwavering commitment and exceptional potential.

A total of 527 young achievers were felicitated on the first day for their commendable academic performance, making it an immense pride for both the awardees and their parents. Grade toppers and 100% attendance holders were exclusively honoured in a dedicated felicitation segment, wherein the student toppers were felicitated along with their parents. On the second day, about 465 Grades II & III students were conferred PHL. A total of 9 academic toppers of Grades II & III received a meritorious honour for their outstanding performance, accompanied by their parents. Special recognition was given to 3 students who attained 100% attendance in the academic year 2024-25.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Najeeb K. P- President Officiating, the guest of honour, Mr. Kashif Jaleel – Vice President of M.E.S Governing Board, Principal, Dr.Hameeda Kadar and key functionaries of the school felicitated the students’ accomplishments on the second day. Delivering an inspiring address on both days, Dr. Hameeda Kadar lauded the students for their perseverance and resilience, emphasizing the value of hard work and consistency in achieving excellence.

The programme was gracefully anchored by Miss. Tara Kamala Menon- Head Girl and Master Jonah Jijo Geevarghese- Head Boy, who steered the ceremony with poise and elegance. Earlier, the welcome speech was delivered by Master Jorden John Abraham and a vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Amna Fysal. The ceremony was coordinated by Mrs. Huda Abdurahiman and Mrs. Needhu Dileep.
