MES KG SECTION ORGANIZES MOCK IFTAR EVENT FOR STUDENTS

The KG section of MES Indian School recently organized a mock Iftar event, bringing the essence of Ramadan to life for its young students. The event saw enthusiastic participation as the children dressed in traditional attire — girls in hijabs and boys in prayer caps — created a vibrant ambience.

The celebration began with a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the spiritual and cultural experience. The highlight of the event was the soulful Azaan, delivered by Adam Ahmad of KG2, creating a serene ambience. Before opening their fast, a DUA was made, teaching the children the significance of prayer and gratitude during Ramadan. Following the Azaan, the school Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar along with the section Head, Ms. Deepti Rawat distributed dates to the students, allowing them to symbolically break their fast. The children also brought fruits and dates from home, sharing them with their classmates and learning the importance of generosity and togetherness during Ramadan.

The Mock Iftar event was planned for social development emphasizing cultural preservation and social cohesion, staying in harmony with Qatar National Vision 2030.
