The Boys under-18 Kabaddi team of MES achieved a remarkable victory in the Ramadan Kabaddi Competition by becoming champions in the highly competitive event. Organized by the Asian Kabaddi Association, the tournament witnessed stiff competition among the participating teams. MES showcased outstanding teamwork, strategy, and dedication throughout the tournament, ultimately went on to earn a well-deserved win.
The event, which brought together teams from various schools and clubs, was held during the holy month of Ramadan and attracted significant attention from sports enthusiasts. The competition tested the athletes’ physical endurance, strategic thinking, and ability to perform under pressure. The players of MES team excelled in all aspects, defeating strong contenders and demonstrating a high level of sportsmanship. As a reward for their outstanding performance, the winners were awarded with Gold medals, Champion’s trophy and a cash award.
Mr Ahamed Isham, Dy. General Secretary, M.E.S Governing Board felicitated the winners and the coaches for their spectacular performances and dedication. The school management and the Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the winners. ‘This achievement in the first ever kabaddi tournament for the students in Qatar not only highlights the team’s hard work but also reflects the strong training and leadership provided by our coaches,’ remarked the Principal. Mr Afsal S and Mohammed Navas, members of the Physical Education Department trained the students.
