Master Jitesh Adithya (Class 12) of MES Indian School bagged the First Runner-up position in the highly competitive finals of the Youth Humorous Speech Contest held as a part of the prestigious Qatar Talks event at the Radisson Blu hotel on 8th November 2024.
The competition, which was aimed at fostering public speaking skills and encouraging a sense of humor among young speakers, saw enthusiastic participation from diverse educational institutions including expatriate schools across Qatar.
Master Jitesh Adithya with his captivating sense of humor, eloquence and presence of mind delivered a speech titled ‘Comedy of Errors’. The speech was an expertly crafted blend of wit, insightful humour, and relatability which impressed the audience and judges alike besides securing him the first runner-up position in the contest. He was awarded with a trophy, certificate, cash award and compliments.
The panel of judges, comprising personalities from the fields of education, media, and public speaking, evaluated the participants on their originality of ideas, level of confidence, audience engagement, sense of humour, and effectiveness of delivery. The Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kader, MES Indian School congratulated the winner on his significant achievement, stating that this accomplishment reflects the school’s commitment in nurturing confident communicators and empowering students with essential life skills.
