MES Indian School students won prizes in the 8th edition of the Tarteel Quran essay writing competition organized by Risala study circle (RSC-Qatar). The competition was conducted with the aim of fostering a deeper understanding of the Qur’an among students and encourage young minds to explore the profound wisdom of the Quran. The contest was conducted in two categories on the following topics. For the Junior category, classes 5-8 had ‘The Qur’an and Science’, and for the Senior category, classes 9-12 had ‘The Miraculous Nature of the Qur’an.’
The following students were the winners in various categories. Anam Azeez (VI) won the second prize (Junior), while Afifa Ajaz –(XII) and Ishan bin Thasneef (XI)secured 3rd prize (Senior category). The school Principal, Dr Hameda Kadar congratulated the winners for their achievements.
