Athwif Abdulla (XI G) of M.E.S Indian School represented CBSE in the 69th National School Games in athletics under 19 catogory, held from 26th to 30th November 2025 in Haryana, under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
Displaying exceptional prowess and athletic discipline, Athwif secured the First Position in the initial round of 100m event, thus successfully advanced to the Semi-Finals of the prestigious national-level sporting event. In recognition of this noteworthy accomplishment, Athwif was awarded the ‘High Priority Certificate’—a coveted honour officially endorsed by the Government of India, reserved for athletes demonstrating excellence and sportsmanship at the national level.
This distinguished recognition has brought immense pride and honour to M.E.S Indian School, and acts as a powerful inspiration to fellow students to emulate. The School Management, Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the Department of Physical Education, and the entire school community extended their heartfelt congratulations to Master Athwif and his coach Mr Steeson K Mathew.
