New Academic Year 2026–2027 Begins with Enthusiasm at M.E.S. Indian School (Evening Shift)

M.E.S. Indian School (Evening Shift) ushered in the academic year 2026–2027 with a refreshing sense of warmth and optimism, as the campus reopened to welcome its vibrant school community. The day unfolded with lively interactions, as students stepped in with excitement, accompanied by their parents, exploring their classrooms and reconnecting with the familiar school environment.

Well before the reopening, the school had thoughtfully prepared its faculty through a series of structured engagements. An orientation session led by the Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, offered meaningful direction and practical insights for the year ahead. This was complemented by collaborative departmental sessions where teachers worked together on academic planning, carefully designing learning materials and organizing the curriculum. Opportunities such as demonstration lessons and ERP training further strengthened classroom readiness and operational efficiency. New members of the teaching staff were also warmly introduced through a dedicated induction programme, helping them settle in with ease.

To make the first day memorable for students of Grades 1 to 9, a simple yet heartfelt welcome was arranged. The Senior Vice Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, and the Headmistress, Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq, greeted the students with encouraging words, setting a reassuring tone. Class Teachers added to the joy by personally welcoming their students with small gestures that brought smiles and comfort.

The reopening day reflected not just the start of classes but the beginning of new experiences, friendships, and learning journeys. It highlighted the school’s continued focus on creating a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels confident to grow and succeed.
