The Boys’ Handball Team of M.E.S Indian School has made history by winning the Overall Championship at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Handball Tournament 2025 held at Galileo International School from 26th to 28th of April 2025.
With 10 teams in Under-19, 11 teams in Under-17, and 7 teams in Under-14, the M.E.S Indian School’s outstanding performance across all age groups truly sets them apart. With their outstanding performance and exceptional skill, the handball teams of M.E.S Indian School made the school proud.
The boys’ teams of M E S showcased exceptional skill and determination, emerging as the champions in the Under-19 and Under-17categories and thus have advanced to the nationals to be held later this year in India. The boys’ under-14 and the girls’ Under-14 and 17 teams secured bronze medals in the tournament.
The school Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the players and coaches on their outstanding achievement, appreciating their dedication, spirit, and the prestige they brought to the school. Ms. Kabia, Ms. Mariam and Mr Mohamed Navas were the teachers in charge who guided and motivated the students to achieve this remarkable success.
