M.E.S athletics team secured nine gold, seven silver and six bronze medals at the SOP Athletics competition organized by the School Olympic Committee in collaboration with the Qatar National Olympic Committee, recently.
Demonstrating exceptional skill, Master Athif Abdullah emerged as the fastest runner in the competition. In 4×100 mts. preparatory category, 4×200 mts in secondary category, the school has won a gold medal and in the primary category, 4×50 mts. relay race secured bronze medals respectively. The competition witnessed the participation of over 150 public and private schools across Qatar, including all Indian schools.
Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the school Principal, along with other school officials, applauded the students for their hard work and sportsmanship. They encouraged the teams to continue striving for excellence in the upcoming tournaments.
