STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS SWORN-IN AT M.E.S

In an impressive ceremony, the student council members of M.E.S Indian School were sworn in for the academic year 2024-25 on Tuesday, 30th April 2024. The inductees included school major appointees, prefects, club secretaries, house captains, scouts and guides, cubs and bulbuls, and band captains. It was a vibrant occasion, wherein each elected member donned the mantle of leadership and was all set to discharge responsibilities entrusted to them.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Najeeb K.P., President officiating, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Kashif Jaleel, Vice President, M.E.S Governing Board graced the occasion and distributed badges to the newly-elected office-bearers of the student council along with other senior officials and leadership team of the school. Dr. Najeeb K.P, President officiating hoisted the school flag on the occasion. The school Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, urged the school appointees to nurture leadership traits that will enable them to assume greater and more responsible roles in society as they grow up.

The major student officials are Master Azlan Mohamed (Junior Head Boy), Miss Hanan Muhammad Shameem (Junior Head Girl), Master Ahmad Faisal Mohammad Habibullah Al Hasani (Senior Head Boy), Miss Sheza Fatima (Senior Head Girl). A march past of students holding house and scout flags was carried out in perfect synchronization with the beat of the school band. The fluttering of the four house flags: Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow lent a jubilant ambience and added to the enthusiasm of the students.

The newly elected Head Boy, Master Ahmad Faisal Mohammad Habibullah Al Hasani led the oath-taking ceremony reaffirming the diligence and dedication with which the new student council would function. Senior Vice-Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, and Heads of Sections, school officials, teachers, students, and parents were among those who attended the glittering investiture ceremony. Mrs. Aishwarya Nair and Mrs. Magdalene Sylvia, teacher representatives welcomed and proposed a vote of thanks respectively for the occasion.
