The students of MES Indian School performed very well at the athletics competition organized by NextGen Sports Academy at the University Stadium on April 11, 2025.
In the boys’ events, Muhamed Hamdan won the gold medal in shot put. Kevin Joseph showed great talent by winning two gold medals—one in the 800 meters and another in the 1500 meters running races. In the girls’ category, Meeval Mathews and Milani Mathews, with hard work and strenuous efforts, shone in the competition by winning gold medals in the shot put event.
Mrs. Mariam Farid, a renowned international athlete of Qatar honoured the medal winners. She praised the students and encouraged them to continue doing well in sports. The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the winners for their spectacular achievements and their coach, Mr Steeson Mathew, for making M.E.S. Indian School proud.
