The MES quiz team, comprising Diya Mariyam (Class IX), Aysha Naja Khaleel (Class VII), and Ahan Abijith (Class VIII), secured the First Runner-Up position in the Annual Insijamu Qatar History Quiz Competition, held on 11th December 2025 at Rajagiri Public School. The competition aims to promote awareness and appreciation of Qatar’s history among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools across Qatar, showcasing students’ knowledge and understanding of Qatar’s rich historical heritage.
The preliminary round of the competition, conducted on an earlier date, rigorously assessed the participants’ knowledge through a series of challenging and thought-provoking questions. Demonstrating outstanding preparation and academic excellence, the M.E.S. Indian School team performed remarkably well and qualified for the final round.
In the final round, the team showcased confidence, consistency, and depth of understanding, delivering an impressive performance that earned them the First Runner-Up position. Their success was the result of dedicated guidance and mentorship provided by Mr. Mujeeb Rahman, Coordinator, Department of Social Science. The team was ably supervised by Ms. Sunita Dahiya, Teacher-in-Charge, whose effective coordination and support played a significant role in this notable achievement. The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the winners and the trainers for their significant effort.
