VIBRANCY AND ENTHUSIASM MARK ‘BAGLESS DAY’ EVENT AT M.E.S

With the aim of promoting experiential learning and giving students a refreshing break from their academic routines, MES Indian School organized a vibrant and enriching ‘Bagless Day’ recently, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020 and Qatar National Vision 2030. A variety of engaging and educational activities were carefully designed to support students’ holistic development offering opportunities to explore creativity, critical thinking, and life skills through fun and engaging activities.

The event consisted of a series of educational and skill building activities which set a lively and interactive tone for the occasion. Numerous activities were carried out allowing students to learn through play and creativity that included Zumba session, which energized students and promoted physical fitness in a fun way, Fun with Maths, where students engaged in puzzles, origami sessions, flameless cooking providing students with hands-on experience in preparing simple and healthy recipes without fire, an exciting game of Tambola, colour splash activity, collage work, where students collaborated to paste pictures to showcase Qatar’s rich heritage, a yoga session that helped children enhance their focus and flexibility, Fun with Art and Fun with Craft sessions, Popcorn Time that provided age-appropriate educational short films, a session on mastering Al Tools, fun-filled indoor games that included “Happy Feet” Hopscotch game, a fascinating science session titled, Magic Mix, Personality Development session, Portfolio Building, Coding Workshop, Quality Circle Time etc.

Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal of MES Indian School, praised the students for their enthusiasm, thanked the parents for their support, and commended the efforts of the teachers, whose dedication and hard work made the event possible. The celebration served as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic learning, laying strong foundations for future-ready citizens in line with Qatar’s national aspirations. The teachers in-charge of the programme were Mr. Sreejith K.N, Mrs. Anu Manoj, Rassia H, Nazanin S.N, Ms Mariam and Ms Kabia.
