YOGA DAY CELEBRATED WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM AT M.E.S

In connection with the International Yoga Day celebrations, M.E.S. Indian School organised a session at the K.G. Hall on 21st June 2025, showcasing the physical fitness and yoga flexibility of students who participated enthusiastically.

The session began with impressive demonstrations of various yoga asanas. Mr. Binoy and Ms. Reshma, teachers of the Physical Education Department, demonstrated ‘Yoga-Asanas’ such as Tadasana, Trikonasana, Setubandhasana, Vajrasana, and Anjaneyasana with remarkable focus and precision. Each posture was explained by Mr. Akbar Ali, who provided the participants with techniques and the health benefits of asanas.

Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal, M.E.S Indian School, inaugurated the Yoga Day celebrations. In her address, she remarked that these practices would help enhance students’ flexibility, concentration, and overall physical and mental well-being. The key functionaries of the school witnessed the session. The Physical Education Department, under the guidance of Mr. Salim J Nadaf, Coordinator, conducted the event.
